About Me

Hi there, and welcome to my blog! I go by Kari for short (pronounced car-e), but my full name is Rickari McCain. I’m so excited to share my life with you and just the things that I learn along the way. It’s my hope that while you’re here, you’ll experience some joy and encouragement.

Why I started This Blog: Well first, I just love to express myself, encourage others, and share my ideas through writing. But also, I’m a Christian and while I’ll be writing about everything from motherhood, lifestyle, mental health, and more, what inspires me to write is my faith. I hope to share the love of God with women everywhere so that they can experience freedom from fear and be healed. So although not every post will talk explicitly of faith, they’ll come from a place of it.

A little bit about me: I’m originally from West, Central Florida, but I now live in Maryland with my sweet hubby and my one and a half year old daughter. We are also expecting baby girl number two this August. Yay! As stated before, I love to write. Whether it’s journaling, fictional story telling, non-fiction, blogging, you name it. If I can be creative with it, writing has always been an outlet for me, and I’m blessed that through my love for it, I can encourage others.

The Mission and Vision: My mission is for women everywhere to gain a deep, personal understand of the love of God for them through grasping a revelation of the Gospel so that they may experience healing and freedom from fear. My vision is that through healing and freedom, women everywhere would use their gifts and talents to help other women find freedom and healing in their lives through relationships with God.

I believe that we can find healing and connect with God even through a blog post about fashion or makeup! Whether the post is about being in the throws of raising a toddler, or a scripture that really spoke to me, the heart behind all of it is that you would grow deeper in your understanding of the Father’s love for you and find healing and freedom through that.

With love,

Kari.
